Hooray! I've managed to post an image.
I'll delete this later, just practising.

While this is still here, if anyone is interested, this bird is the Honduran Emerald, a critically endangered variety of hummingbird that lives in the dry thorny forests of Honduras. I took this picture in 2015 - a lucky shot with my point-and-click camera.

You should not delete it--what a lovely little bird. (And what a crazy/lucky shot to capture it at rest.)

I feel like we have more hummingbirds here in the last few years. They seem to like a flowering mock-orange shrub near our deck. Occasionally they startle us as they zoom past, just inches from our heads.
